Qualifications :
High School Diploma2+ years of First Article Inspection (FAI) requiredFAI experience specific to manufacturing of Circuit Cards, Cables and Subassemblies requiredMust have IPC620/IPC610/J-STD experience and strong knowledgeFamiliarity with Adobe Acrobat and computer system navigationWillingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as neededDetail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructionsResponsibilities:
Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, sub-assemblies, structural flaws and internal defects.Uses various measuring devices.Accepts, rejects, or supports rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems.Works from blueprints, diagrams, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.Complete first article documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
