First Article InspectorJob Number: 352714Category: Quality InspectorDescription: Job Title: First Article InspectorLocation: Clearwater, FLZip Code: 34677Start Date: Right AwayJob Type: ContractSchedule: 5:00 AM -3:30 PM / Mon-ThursPay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 /hr DoEKeywords: #FirstArticleInspector #InspectorJobsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, sub-assemblies, structural flaws and internal defects.* Uses various measuring devices.* Accepts, rejects, or supports rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems.* Works from blueprints, diagrams, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.* Complete first article documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Must be a US Citizen* Strong background in the manufacturing FAI process of Circuit Cards, Cables and Subassemblies.* Willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.* Must have IPC620/IPC610/J-STD experience and strong knowledge.* Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.* Must be a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.* Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.* Proficient with Personal Computers.* Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and computer system navigation is required.* Excellent communication ability is required.* Quality certifications such as ASQ, CMI or CQT is a plus.Benefits:* Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available.* On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
