Job DescriptionSenior Accountant | Hybrid - Chicago | $90,000 to $100,000 + Bonus
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team and play a critical role in managing and improving our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.Perform detailed analysis of financial reports, identifying trends and variances to support strategic decision-making.Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, enhance reporting systems, and drive process improvements.Assist in preparing for audits and ensure proper internal controls are in place.Support budget preparation, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of progressive accounting experience.CPA or progress towards CPA preferred.Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
