Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.The Tax Director will be responsible for Global and U.S. tax compliance and planning. This position requires significant interaction across the finance organization as well as external service providers and customers. This role will work closely with finance leadership to develop the tax strategy, goals, and objectives for the global tax function as the Company continues to grow organically and through strategic opportunities. The role will support many other departments in the organization as needed to support the needs of the business both domestically and internationally.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOversee all aspects of the company's corporate tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local corporate tax returns, including return to provision reconciliations.Work closely with and manage external tax preparers to ensure all filings are prepared timely and accurately.Work with the U.S. and Europe finance leaders to develop and recommend transfer pricing strategies, allocations, and intercompany agreements.Assist with the preparation and/or review miscellaneous indirect tax filings including federal excise, franchise tax, CAT, municipal, sales and use, and property taxes.Manage inquiries from taxing authorities, customers, and other departments throughout the organization to ensure they are addressed timely and accurately.Prepare tax-related disclosures required in GAAP financial statements.Supervise, train, mentor, and develop tax compliance and accounting staff.Stay abreast of changes in corporate tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company and recommending appropriate courses of action.Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate tax function.Oversee development and maintenance of tax department policies and procedures.Follow all internal controls and processes while assisting in month-end and other periodic close reconciliations.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify, and solve difficult business problems.Work on ad hoc projects as needed (due diligence, merger and acquisition activity, tax research, tax exams).EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMasters or MBA preferred10+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate tax compliance and provisionsComprehensive knowledge of international, federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Preferred experience within indirect taxStrong computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite ApplicationsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple inquiries/requests quickly.
