Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Director, Broad Based Compensation for an established, yet growing organization located in Atlanta, GA. The Director, Broad Based Compensation will serve in a hands-on role as a member of the Corporate Compensation team, reporting to the Vice President of Compensation and will lead compensation activities that include administration of base pay and the short-term incentive plan, competitive analysis and benchmarking, coordination with the Workday Product Management, Finance, and Payroll teams, compensation process communications and vendor management. This role will also ensure the company’s programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies, internal controls and government regulations.Responsibilities

Participate in the development of a compensation philosophy and strategy that enables the company to compete in the marketplace as an “Employer of Choice”

Lead initiatives, projects and regular annual processes such as pay increase planning, career framework and salary structure evaluation and maintenance, review of compensation guidelines, salary benchmarking exercises, etc.

Partner with corporate HQ department leaders and HR Business Partners by providing advice and support that ensures the company’ compensation practices and issues are positioned appropriately; interpret and apply policies, often in complex situations

Responsible for the administration of compensation policies and programs for the Global Technology Center (GTC) in Krakow, Poland.

Lead the Workday annual merit planning process for Corporate and GTC in partnership with the Workday Product Management

Development of departmental reporting/dashboards

Oversee all market pricing activities using Market Pay, reviews recommendations for new hires and promotions to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness

Oversee the annual survey participation process and manage relationships with third party vendors.

Responsible for modeling and cost analysis related to base salaries. Develops recommendations from competitiveness analyses of market data and local conditions.

Lead the short-term incentive plan activities for Corporate and GTC, including bonus plan structure, design and accruals. Partner with the Workday Product Management team with tracking, calculations, payments, statements and annual pay plans.

Manage the pay equity review process for Corporate

Assist with the design and delivery of training for compensation processes and programs

Partner in the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions around compensation processes.

Experience, Education, And Abilities

Proven background in Compensation Management is essential, with 10-12 years of progressive responsibility and experience in large corporate environment, global organization strongly preferred

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, required

Workday experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of state and federal employee compensation laws and regulations

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience in complex project management with the ability to deliver quality recommendations and solutions in a timely and detailed way

Exceptional systems skills, including advanced MS Excel skills

Ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities

Statistical ability to analyze data, identify themes and trends, draw conclusions and formulate appropriate recommendations

Ability to adapt and flex in the face of major changes in work tasks, priorities, processes, structures, culture and strategy

Work performed in a typical office environment and no travel is anticipated
