System One has an exciting IT Systems Analyst opportunity with a partner in the Tulsa, Ok area. This position will be the liaison between technology teams and the business. The ideal candidate will be able to design, create, collaborate and implement applications and application upgrades as needed. This is a fully onsite position. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements. SUMMARY: Analyzes and solves computer problems and assures technology meets the needs of the organization. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing, improve existing computer systems, or implement new systems while performing the duties listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Confer with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. Identify areas of operational improvements and implement necessary modifications. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of internal line-of-business applications. Interface with existing systems as necessary. Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications. Test and evaluate new programs. Research, design, implement, and manage software programs. Create, design, deploy, and update applications. Must be able to identify and debug software errors and issues. Write and update technical documentation. Train users and gather feedback. Ensure all the IT systems support the business function efficiently. Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT incidents. Support and maintenance of IT infrastructure as required. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, work in a fast-paced environment, and to interchange with others in the department. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. COMPUTER SKILLS Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server DBMS. Proven ability to gather requirements from internal customers and develop solutions to their issues using primarily Microsoft platforms. Ability to analyze existing programs and databases and safely interface with them. A high degree of understanding and usage of all primary Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Understanding of cloud and network infrastructure. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Experience with Microsoft SQL Server B.A. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform preferred. Experience with .NET development preferred. Experience with Made2Manage ERP system preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to perform professional business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Good presentation skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Some college mathematical skills required. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Logical thought processes and common sense Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or design form. Ability to deal with complex problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. TRAVEL Minimal (5-10%) travel required. Must be available for overnight travel by land and/or air with proper notice (no immediate notice). Passport required for international travel.
