Call Coverage:
Provide expert gastroenterology care through on-call coverage. The average expected in-house hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM (10 hours), with 14 hours of on-call duty from 6 PM to 8 AM.Patient Load:
Manage an average of 15-20 patients per day, including approximately 5 procedures. The position also requires responding to calls during on-call hours, with an average of 0-10 calls between 7 PM and 7 AM.Callback Frequency:
Expect an average of 1-3 callbacks overnight per week, ensuring critical care is provided when needed.Requirements:
Board Certification:
Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.Licensing:
An active Oklahoma license or eligibility for an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license is required.Certification Requirements:
ACLS certification is required.BLS, ATLS, PALS certifications are not required for this role.
Experience:
Previous experience in an inpatient setting is highly preferred, ensuring familiarity with the fast-paced environment and critical care needs.Additional Information:

The facility utilizes Epic for all electronic medical records, providing a streamlined and efficient system for managing patient care.Credentialing Timeframe:
