Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensure accuracy and timeliness with processing.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
3. Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
4. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions, maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.
5. Create and maintain documentation for all financial processes, decisions, and actions.
6. Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions, preparing and presenting financial findings and related documentation.
7. Evaluate and improve processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a accounting role is required.
3. Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software.
4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
5. Proven experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger functions, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. CPA or CMA certification would be considered an asset.
