The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with Neurology Experience will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with neurological disorders. This position requires a strong background in neurology and the ability to provide compassionate and evidence-based care to our patients.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.Collaborate with neurologists and sleep medicine specialists to develop patient treatment plans.Order diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, sleep studies, and imaging studies.Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological and sleep disorders, including epilepsy, migraine, sleep apnea, and movement disorders.Prescribe and manage medication therapies, as well as provide patient education on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.Monitor and follow up on patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical regulations.Participate in multidisciplinary care teams, collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.Stay current with the latest developments in neurology and sleep medicine through continuous education and training.Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in patient care.Prerequisites / License & Certification RequirementsNurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a valid state license.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.Previous experience in neurology or sleep medicine is highly preferred.Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Commitment to ongoing professional development.Requirements

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification from US based programPrevious experience in neurology or sleep medicine is highly preferred.
