Warehouse Clerk

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Warehouse Clerk for a company that Manufactures Aircraft Safety equipment located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:

• Counts, sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt. Stores articles in bins or locations as required.
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
• Distributes stock among production workers, keeps records of material issued.
• Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Assembles containers and boxes or selects preassembled containers.
• Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers and protective padding.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.

Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

• Must be able to work well as both an individual and as a member of a team.
• Must have computer keyboard skills and basic understanding of computers; experience with MRP system a plus.

Requirements:

• Required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear.
• Proven Shipping/Receiving experience is required
• 2 years of prior small product assembly is required
• Must be able too regularly lift 10 pounds of weight and lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Occasionally weight to be moved/lifted can be up to 50 pounds.
• Associate must be computer literate
