We are hiring a Senior Associate - FP&A in our New York office.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in a lean finance team, supporting ongoing strategic and tactical business planning in a rapidly growing technology firm. You will apply your expertise in financial modeling and analytics to ensure informed decision making by Senior Leadership and other internal stakeholders. You will manage the Company's operating model, track KPIs, build budgets and business scenarios, draft presentations and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization. This high visibility role will report directly to the VP of Finance.
What You'll Do:Collaborate with VP of Finance to maintain and improve the Company's operating model, including ongoing analysis of underlying assumptionsAssist senior leadership with development of budgets and long-term business plansManage various analytical projects for to assist with senior leadership decision-makingOversee calculation and tracking of KPIsLead the monthly BvA analysesCollaborate with the Accounting team to prepare monthly financial reporting packagePrepare presentations for senior leadership and the Board of DirectorsEvaluate new tools for improvement and optimization of internal processesExperiences and Capabilities You Bring:
3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial advisory or financial planning/analytics in a high-growth startupExpertise in Excel, with strong financial modeling and data visualization skillsYou are extremely detail-oriented and well organized with strong written and verbal communication skillsYou are a problem solver who is able to work independently, with minimal guidanceBonus points for knowledge of SaaS metrics and U.S. GAAPThis is a hybrid role. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.
Compensation:
Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.
The base salary range for this role is between $115,000-$145,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed in the "Who You Are" section above. The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
