Position Summary:

The Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer will be responsible for the significant year-over-year growth of revenue at Grand Canyon Resort Corporation. This growth will be achieved through the strategic development, implementation, execution, and constant evaluation of all sales, marketing, and advertising campaigns at GCRC. Additionally, this position will advise the Executive team regarding new business ventures, including product development and expansion of currently owned businesses and revenue streams, acquisitions of existing businesses, and the development of new business models for GCRC.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Increase revenue for GCRC through the development, implementation, execution, and oversight of strategic sales, marketing, and advertising campaigns.

Significantly increase digital footprint and traffic in all relevant streaming and social media spaces, generating monthly reports indicating growth.

Evaluate marketing partners and advertising agencies to ensure maximum ROI.

Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase visitation to existing business operations.

Identify and execute opportunities for mergers and acquisitions, as well as opening new business operations.

Find efficiencies in current business operations in collaboration with other executives.

Enhance existing products and offerings to maximize efficiencies and revenues.

Prepare strategies to significantly increase revenues.

Work with operational department heads to market and promote a world-class experience for guests.

Ensure all team members are informed and trained to assist guests.

Conduct regular Performance Evaluations and promote team growth opportunities.

Ensure health, safety, and sanitation processes are followed.

Resolve guest-related issues promptly and respectfully.

Assist coworkers in handling difficult guests.

Keep the Executive team and Board of Directors informed of all issues.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to develop and execute effective marketing and advertising campaigns.

Track record of developing luxury branding campaigns.

Experience in developing effective sales campaigns to increase revenue.

Ability to build and develop a team of sales and marketing leaders.

Knowledge of financial statements and ability to project revenues and expenses.

Ability to drive revenues and control expenses.

Creative thinking across various business operations.

Knowledge of contract management.

Responsiveness to C-Suite demands and ability to streamline requests.

Ability to interact with a diverse population.

Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to support executives in executing high-level strategies.

Ability to interact with the Board of Directors and Tribal Council.

Ability to foster a team environment and maintain positive relationships.

Ability to communicate clearly and handle escalated issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, required.

Minimum of ten (10) years of senior leadership experience in marketing, required.

Experience in opening large-scale business operations, required.

Experience in mergers and acquisitions, required.

Proven ability to increase revenue year-over-year for operations with at least $100M in annual revenue, required.

Ability to analyze and execute new business ventures, required.

Ability to work efficiently as an individual and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working for a Tribal entity, preferred.

Preference given to Hualapai Tribal members.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods.

Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision and peripheral vision.

Must communicate effectively in person or via telecommunications.

Must have manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and other devices.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

Conditions of Employment:

Must provide authorization to work in the United States.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Must comply with internal policies and regulations.

Working Conditions:

Work environment will be an office setting with occasional outdoor assignments. Exposure to extreme weather conditions may occur. Occasional travel for meetings and assignments may be required. Extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be needed. Must be able to perform under pressure and manage stressful situations.
