Position Summary: The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst safeguards Empower’s digital infrastructure by monitoring for threats, leading incident response, and conducting risk assessments. This role ensures compliance with regulations like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), supporting Empower’s mission to provide safe, affordable medications and improve lives.Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously monitors security systems, investigates incidents, and leads response efforts, including containment and remediation.Conducts forensic investigations to identify root causes of breaches and provides detailed reports for future prevention.Performs regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to maintain a robust security posture.Implements corrective measures and ensures compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.Provides training and guidance on security best practices while communicating complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive experience with security tools, including Security Information and Event Management systems, firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response, and vulnerability management platforms.Strong understanding of security frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology, International Organization for Standardization 27001, and Center for Internet Security Controls, as well as network protocols, cryptography, and penetration testing.Expertise in cloud security across platforms like Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud, alongside malware analysis and forensic investigation techniques.Key Competencies:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Ethical Hacker, or Global Information Assurance Certification are required.Benefits:
