Full-Time, In person, Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
to our skilled and patient-focused team.Responsibilities:Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.Qualifications:Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in Psychiatry required.One or more years’ post-graduate degree practice preferred.Licensed Psychiatrist in the state of Arkansas.Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state of Arkansas.Advanced knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program.Ability to work hours to meet the needs of our clients.Experience in child/adolescent treatment preferred.We offer a full suite of benefits ranging from:Growth Opportunities second to none in the industryCompetitive payMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid Time OffHSA & FSACompany Paid Basic Life & AD&DDisability401(k) Retirement Plan - with company matchEmployee Assistance Program/Employee Discount ProgramAbout Us:As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
