POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director or Vice President of Sales – Diagnostics to lead and expand our sales efforts in the LDT (Laboratory Developed Tests) and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and leading high-performing sales teams, with a focus on diagnostics. This role will be crucial in driving revenue growth and market penetration for our Venus and Pluto products. The candidate will serve as a player’s coach, leading by example while developing a dedicated sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. The position offers a remote working arrangement preferably based in the greater Boston area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the LDT (Laboratory Developed Tests) and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) markets with Curiox’s Venus and Pluto products.

Team Building:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team specializing in diagnostics. Serve as a player’s coach, leading by example and fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Market Penetration:

Identify and prioritize target accounts within the diagnostics market. Develop and implement plans to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in these accounts.

Sales Execution:

Drive sales activities to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Lead the team in identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and closing sales.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Customer Engagement:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and support.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Reporting and Analytics:

Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management. Use insights to refine sales strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Product Advocacy:

Serve as a key advocate for Curiox’s products in the diagnostics market. Present the value proposition of Venus and Pluto products effectively to prospective customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales, with a significant portion in the diagnostics (LDT and IVD) market.

Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.

Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring sales professionals.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Solid understanding of the diagnostics market, including key trends, competitors, and regulatory environment.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support the sales team.
