Client is seeking a Medical Director for one of its West Virginia Psychiatric inpatient units. This is a 52 bed facility consisting of one 34 bed adult unit and a separate 18 bed Geriatric unit.Administrative duties are minimal (20 hrs/month) and clinical responsibilities will be mostly for the adult unit. There are three other psychiatrists on staff. Call is 1:4 and is telephone only.The hospital is offering a competitive base salary, incentive bonus, medical director stipend and complete benefits package. Academic affiliation with nearby WVU in Morgantown is possible. This area qualifies as a medically underserved, and loan repayment options are available. This is a wonderful family community with plenty of year-round outdoor activity. Skiing, water sports, and golf are all at hand. There are excellent school choices, and housing options are abundant and affordable.
