Hematology/Oncology Opportunity – Palm Beach, FL!!
Medical Center’s physician group is seeking a medical Oncologist board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology. The incoming physician will be joining a group of 4 surgical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists. Medical Center is building a state of the art cancer center located next to the hospital. The Cancer Institute is expected to open at the end of this year. The center will provide access to multidisciplinary, evidence-based care such as that found in the nation’s most prestigious health care institutions.With four surgical oncologists employed by client, they are looking to find a medical hematologist/oncologist that can practice in a clinical environment but also serve in the role of building relationships and being the face of medical oncology at the hospital. The goal is to create an in-house referral stream. The plan is to hire one Med Onc and then grow an employed medical oncology group from there.Program is accredited as a comprehensive community cancer program by the Commission on Cancer:4 surgical oncologists – breast, gynecologic, GI and Thoracic2 radiation oncologistsNurse navigatorsClinical researchState-of-the-art infusion suites will be located in new centerExpanded genetic testingSurvivorship programCutting edge radiation technology:CyberKnifeElectron Beam IntraOperative Radiation Therapy (e-IORT)TrueBeam radiotherapy systemCandidate Parameters/Specifics:General hem/oncologistComfortable working in a collaborative, clinical environmentWilling to attend hospital events and build relationships to grow the programBoard certified/board eligible in hematology and oncologySub-specialty interest in GI oncologySome experience preferredFinancial Package- Medical Oncology:The incoming physician will be employed by client with the following financial package:$400,000 annual base salary plus bonus based on quality and performance measuresHospital benefits: 401K, Paid time off, CME allowance, health and dental insuranceSign on BonusRelocation packageProduction model – based on Work RVUs
