Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a strategic HR Generalist/Business partner role

To support our mission, the AHS People, eXperience, and Technology (PXT) team is hiring a Sr. HR Business Partner to provide end-to-end HR support to senior leaders and teams within our Health Store and Technology organization. This is a highly visible role and is both strategic and hands-on. The role will be a trusted advisor and business partner, overseeing talent management, organizational design and effectiveness, workforce planning, employee development and engagement, among other HR efforts for their client group.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth, start-up environment and has a demonstrated ability to engage collaboratively at all levels of an organization. They will possess a broad range of competencies including the ability to influence without authority, agility and flexibility, an adaptable communication style based on audience, and the ability to analyze complex data, propose and deliver concise solutions, and produce high quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively managing the "pulse" of the business. Regularly monitoring key organizational metrics and goals and identifying insights that equip leaders to evolve their organizations in alignment with goals.
Leveraging data to identify, forecast, and analyze risks and opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Identifying and deeply understanding problem statements, developing solutions and influencing business leaders, partners, and stakeholders on recommendations without direct authority.
Creating strategic action plans to improve team effectiveness, build leader capabilities, and improve the employee experience.
Leading with empathy and earning trust of employees at all levels of the organization.
Operating with autonomy and discretion within, at times, a challenging and ambiguous environment. Leveraging high judgment to assess risks and articulate risks and trade offs to business leaders.
Managing large-scale cyclical talent processes while also diving into the details of nuanced employee-specific questions and concerns.
Ruthlessly prioritizing and identifying tradeoffs to ensure resources are focused on the highest impact work.
Contributing ideation and written narratives to larger Think Big initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
HR experience in high-tech or healthcare industries
Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
Not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done
Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance
Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare high quality documents as well as present and facilitate group meetings and events
Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
Experience coaching senior leaders and managers
Strong talent assessment skills
Project management skills; ability to lead projects, gain buy-in and drive to execution and achievement of the right results
Self-starter, able to work both independently as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
Experience partnering with executive business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel (ability to create pivot tables, use Vlookup and other formulas)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
