Job ID: 2727859 | Amazon.com Services LLCNorth America Stores (NAS) PXT is seeking a solution focused, organized, self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a Sr. HR Business Partner to provide HR Business support to clients in Amazon Private Brands (APB). You will focus on organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, employee development and engagement. To be successful in this role, you will contribute to business strategy and translate business priorities into a long term HR charter. You’ll help business leaders look around corners through data-driven innovative recommendations for new initiatives as well as iterating on current programs to improve team performance, retention and the employee experience. You will coordinate with other teams within PXT/Amazon as well as spearhead and participate in North America Stores-wide projects. You will be expected to play the role of a trusted advisor and collaborate extensively with global PXT and business stakeholders.
As an HR professional, you must have the ability to diagnose issues, see patterns of problems as you dive deep, and recommend immediate and long term programmatic solutions. You will be called on to seamlessly collaborate across groups, influence all levels of the organization, and roll up your sleeves and engage on a hands-on basis. Your strong business acumen, executive coaching skills, excellent communication skills, and planning/project management skills are key to success as is your ability to balance competing priorities.
Key job responsibilities- Work with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.- Partner with business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.- Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.- Provide management coaching and training to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues.- Plan, manage and provide continuous improvement to all aspects of the client organization and leadership review process and the strategic objectives therein. This includes both annual and mid-year processes which focus on performance management and talent development.- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ work experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role including performance management, change management, and employee communications- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline- Experience with business and technology teams and a track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations- Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives- Demonstrated ability to coach managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness- Experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HR experience supporting tech teams or in a tech company- Experience in the development and administration of HR programs- Experience in assessing management and executive talent- Excellent presentation skills- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
