Chief Financial Officer
Addison Group is searching for an experienced CFO for one of our top growing clients in the Washington D.C. metro area who will oversee the financial strategy and be the expert point of contact for strategic partnerships, fundraising, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with senior executives and the Board of Directors to establish financial and strategic goals for the company, and financial and investing strategies to meet specific business objectives, legal, regulatory and securities reporting requirements. Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-range financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Maintain the company's relationships with the financial and shareholder communities. Oversee all aspects of financial planning and reporting including the controller function, accounting, treasury, and tax on a global basis to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, shareholder requirements, and regulatory requirements. Communicate, engage and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, COO, and Executive Leadership Team. Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks. Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners. Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion. Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred. 10 years of experience in a publicly traded corporation, preferably as CFO. Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence. Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
