Mar 10, 2023Profile:As part of an industry-leading team, you will help clients make better decisions by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions. You will have the chance to create a significant impact through revenue contribution, strategic growth of a client segment, and enhancement of Aon’s expertise and product offerings.Your impact as a Senior Managing Director, Reinsurance:Lead the development plan for enhanced reinsurance pipeline management, collaborating with Office Leaders to monitor and drive the completion/maintenance of our US Regional reinsurance pipeline.Develop competitive business strategies to react and capitalize on market opportunities.Create and drive standard methodologies across origination brokers for the development and execution of tailored prospecting strategies.Develop and contribute to content that shares new offering plans with vital teams internally and externally.Collaborate with other Reinsurance Client Segment leaders to identify alignments and opportunities to further scale and align innovation and investment strategies.Oversee and run ongoing RFP (Request for Proposal) tracking in the US reinsurance regional client segment.Conduct relevant business discussions at the most senior level (CEO/CFO).Gain experience in reinsurance brokerage as a team member of a US Regional account team.Adhere to Aon processes and procedures and all quality service requirements.Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and reinsurers.Skills and experience that will lead to success:Minimum 12 years related experience in (re)insurance, including underwriting, product development, and strategy development experience in the US Regional insurance market.Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients.Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients.Entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of accountability for profitability.Excellent organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and run projects and direct reports.Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound business decisions.Ability to adopt and inspire change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goals.Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.How we support our colleagues:In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
