We are in search of an experienced and dedicated Partner for our Construction Litigation team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who is seeking to join a collaborative culture that lacks sharp elbows, backstabbing, and information hoarding. You will be working with a diverse and dynamic team of legal experts, handling complex construction litigation issues and contributing to the growth and success of our firm. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and provide strategic legal counsel to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction litigation including research, case preparation, negotiation, and trial.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on construction law matters, including contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, and insurance coverage issues.
- Develop case strategies by conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction law, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client relationship management and new client acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
- Portables
- Proven track record of success in construction litigation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong research and report writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
- Commitment to uphold the highest standards of legal ethics and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated business development skills and ability to maintain client relationships.
