STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Rail Intern
to join our
Transportation & Infrastructure Vehicles/Systems Engineering
team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months.
Responsibilities:Utilize Microstation and AutoCAD to assist in design rail alignments, drainage systems, and grading and other infrastructure.Participate in variety of planning, design and construction projects.Support development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.Assist in developing technical design reports, calculations, and memosPeriodically perform field inspections.Perform research in support of developing design solutions.Required:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in
Civil Engineering
at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
Compensation Range:$44,767.00 - $59,689.00
