Core One is seeking a

Capability Assessment/Analysis Functional SME

to support the program.

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance . This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Employ a range of experimentation tools to support industry-standard and trade space studies evaluating warfighter capabilities, differing solution designs, program recommendations, and overall capability performanceSupport the development, coordinate, plan and execute EXFOR experimentation efforts and events which may include modeling, simulations, tabletop exercises, war games, red team analysis, prototyping, and demonstrations to validate the feasibility, reliability, and resiliency of experiments for enhancing Special Operations capabilities across the DOTmLPF-P spectrumAssess the utility and application of different or developing commercially or governmentowned analytical tool setsProvide subject matter expertise and guidance on cutting edge technologies while functioning as an expert in leveraging the potential of Special Operates Forces (SOF) research and technology developmentsEstablish and/or maintain contacts with SOF AT&L, Science & Technology (S&T), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and other DoD, Joint, Military Service and SOF Component S&T organizationsReport findings and/or results from every experiment event executed on behalf of the client, Capture lessons learned; incorporating lessons learned into future event scenarios and practicesAssemble, train and lead experiment events by supporting scenario development and scenario scripting for the desired eventPlan, design, develop, lead experiment event from concept through post exececution reviewCreate briefs for approval, progress updates, and scenario implementationProvide analytical support to plan, prepare, rehearse, conduct, and assess senior leader seminars, SOF experiment events to include exercises, table-top exercises, and interoperability workshop/conferences. •Develop plans of action and milestone schedules •Research and prepare staff products, scenario development, moderator guides, and reference materialsEvaluate DOTmLPF-P to develop alternative solutions that may inform senior leaders on force changes, resourcing, and capability gapsAttend planning (Ex, Initial, Mid and Final) conferences and workshops with stakeholders to discuss event planning, scenario development and scriptingParticipate in experimentation-related forums, working groups, and external assemblies (i.e. Conferences, technology shows, etc.)Support development of USSOCOM products, including guidance and directives (SOF Operating Guidance, Force Planning Guidance (FPG), SOF Programming Guidance (SPG), etc.)Conduct strategic outreach and engagement efforts regarding SOF Experimentation, Force Development and Design (internal and external audiences, senior military leaders, and political officials) that would bring about exposure to new relationships, establish joint venture strategies, develop new markets, identify useful programs and services, and provide insights that foster growth opportunitiesTravel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basisPrepare reports, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholdersRequirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution. Masters' degree preferred.DAU Requirement Management Level C Training (or equivalent) required.Minimum of 3 years of experience assigned to a Combatant Command (USSOCOM preferred).Minimum of 2 years of experience assigned to, or supporting, the Joint Staff, Service, or USSOCOM in a JCIDS-related assignment required.Minimum PME level of Intermediate Service School (Army Military Education Level 4 or equivalent) required.Demonstrated past performance as a government employee or contractor with at least one Special Operations-related SOFCIDS or JCIDS-compliant capability assessment required.Experience supporting the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) or SOFCIDS processes at Level C (e.g., JCIDS forums, Working Group, Functional Capability Board (FCB), Joint Capability Board (JCB), Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), SOCREB, etc.).3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff.2 years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.).Prior service member (O4-O6, E7-E9, CW2-CW5)Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
