We are seeking a

Research Assistant

for

Intensive research and scholarly work on the Department of Defense grant to complete the grant-funded research activities.

Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo construct and manage a comprehensive clinical and research database.To assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.To present research projects at meetings and conferences.To perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.To assist with tasks on other research projects as required.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent written and oral skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential, strong organizational, administrative, project management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage and track large amounts of sensitive and diverse data, ability to balance multitude of ongoing competing deadlines, and the ability to work with independently and with others.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Some related experience.Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred QualificationsApplicants who have PhD or are near to completion of a PhD (or equivalent) will be preferred.
