Overview

The Laboratory Sciences Ex Vivo division within DTS at Inotiv-Boulder is a contemporary organization focused on biomarker analysis to help our clients understand the effects of therapeutics in a wide array of pre-clinical disease models through participation in the design, scope and execution of studies as well as the analysis and modeling of data originating from these investigations.

Our specialty lies in multi-color Flow Cytometry, custom In Vitro assay development, Luminex multiplex cytokine analysis, custom and commercial ELISA analysis and qRT-PCR. As part of the Ex Vivo team the successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing these techniques to help meet our customers goals of better understanding the role different therapeutics play in the disease models being tested.

With increased demand for pharmacologic and toxicologic investigations focused across multiple therapeutic areas (TAs) and ranging from discovery through preclinical development, demand for Ex-vivo analyses has also increased.

Accordingly, Inotiv is seeking qualified candidates to play a pivotal role in this growing area of drug discovery. The qualified candidate should have experience working independently though experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting of cell and molecular biology-based assays aimed at analyzing biomarkers of disease from a wide array of In Vivo and In Vitro models.

The exceptional candidate should have experience working directly with clients, assisting with study design and biomarker selection and to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, detailed record keeping, an understanding of advanced laboratory practices, sterile technique, Excel based data analysis and overall Good Laboratory Practices.

Responsibilities

Work independently with minimal supervision, assisting with Project Management.

Managing client interactions and relationships, assisting in study design and biomarker selection for a wide-array of immunology and disease models.Design, troubleshoot and execute cell and molecular biology assays to analyze biomarkers.

Experience with Tissue processing, RNA/DNA isolation, ELISA, Luminex, qRT-PCR.

Manage in vitro cell culture experiments to address drug discovery questions.

Both immortalized cell lines and primary cells from various animals (mouse, rat, human).

Basic knowledge and understanding of multi-color Flow Cytometry Panel Design and Analysis.Data analysis and Quality control of both custom assays and commercially developed assays.Communicate and coordinate with other members of the division, study coordinators and other departments.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with all regulations and safety requirements.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.Secondary Duties:Regularly contributes to process improvement within the Ex Vivo division, including but not limited to; SOP review, model development, assay optimization, data analysis, etc.Participate in client facing calls, assisting Study Directors with protocol development and data presentation to internal and external stakeholders.Other tasks as assigned.
