We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. Job Description Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Sr. Computer Vision Architect. You will be a key member of our Digital Team, working on our suite of video signal processing, perception and tracking products. We use the latest generation of embedded SoCs with built in AI acceleration to offer solutions to some of the most challenging problems in industrial and defense sensing. In your role your will be asked to develop/innovate practical solutions to challenging sensing problems and to, together with your colleagues, implement the solution using a combination of sensors and algorithms running on embedded SoCs. You are comfortable using both traditional algorithmic methods as well as deep learning solutions and can take the lead in designing novel solutions to complex problems in a multi-spectral sensing application. Skills/experience A technical degree (CS preferred) or equivalent experience Computer vision application development (3 years required) Video/radar-based detection and tracking applications (required) Deep learning techniques (ideally in detection and tracking) (required) Data science experience (ex. data curation, model training) (required) Languages C++ and Python (required) OS Linux (required), embedded Linux (preferred) Experience from design, development, integration and test of CV functionality (required) Familiarity with open-source CV libraries and Tools Familiarity with Agile development environments (ex. SCRUM) Experience in delivering production quality software for Qualcomm and Nvidia based hardware systems (strongly desired) Experience in developing and delivering multi-spectral/multi-object tracking systems as a Technical Lead (strongly desired) Familiarity with Docker, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub based toolchain (strongly desired) Experience with reading and understanding relevant academic research (required) Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce. Salary Range: $112,200.00-$150,260.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
