Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMThe Member Advisor provides financial solutions and counseling through outbound sales calls to members and prospective members. This individual presents Suncoast Credit Union lending products and services. Key responsibilities include initiating and underwriting consumer loans in accordance with lending policies and procedures. An ideal candidate provides professional, prompt, courteous, and accurate service with high regard for the confidentiality of members.Responsibilities:Sell Suncoast Credit Union products and services through outbound callsInitiate conversations and interview members to gather information necessary to complete consumer loan applicationsDetermine and explain appropriate products to meet members' financial needsAnswer questions about the loan processProvide a prompt, accurate, and excellent member experienceMeet minimum monthly goals determined by managementImplement daily and monthly adherence standardsInput and process loan requestsDecision loan requests within the lending authorityMake recommendations on loan requests outside of the lending authorityAssess loan applications for upselling or counter offers and process system approvalsGenerate new memberships by qualifying prospective members based on various campaigns and lead opportunitiesSupport the business unit through creative communication, strategic follow-up, and pipeline managementQualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of lending experience with a financial institution in a call center environmentOutbound sales experience preferredAbility to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet required deadlinesAccurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task managementAbility to independently analyze and resolve complex situations to find effective solutionsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with members, staff, vendors, and government regulatorsAbility to communicate practices, procedures, and policies to reach an agreement with othersSkillsCustomer ServiceNetworkingSalesSafe Act StatementThis position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). The employee will obtain a unique identifier from the registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities. The employee must maintain and renew the registration on an annual basis, provide updated registration information with the registry on a timely basis, and provide a unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Suncoast Credit Union policies and procedures.BenefitsFinancial Well-Being:
