Mechanical Assembler

We seek a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Assembler with at least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesRead and understand assembly drawings.Assemble/build mail automation equipment.Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.Work both independently and within a team depending on the project.Essential SkillsAbility to read assembly drawings.Recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.Identify hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.Experience using both hand and power tools.Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day and stand all day.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong preference for candidates with previous experience using hand and power tools.Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.Detail-oriented and punctual with a strong work ethic.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
