The successful candidate will act as one of the central points of contact for all Head Office locations.They will participate in the month-end close process for approximately 5 Head Office entities.Located in Atlanta, Ga., he or she will partner with stakeholders across the company including field finance leaders, DSS Corporate Accounting and DSS Shared Services AP/AR.This role will drive opportunities to streamline our monthly accounting processes and standards by assisting with the implementation of a shared services approach for processes utilizing the leading practice and SAP S/4 HANA Cloud based application.The ideal candidate should have strong people and customer service skills, a track record of process improvement, exceptional accounting experience, strong analytical skills and excellent teamwork skills along with an ability to work in an ever-changing environment.

Areas of Responsibility:

Prepare assigned monthly journal entriesPerform assigned general ledger account reconciliationsEnsure all cash journal entries are prepared and bank statements are reconcilied to G/L account balances.Maintain all inter-company and intra-company accounts and ensure all accounts arePrepare intercompany statements for other business locationsMonitor policies and procedures for assigned departments, and identify and suggest improvements for accounting reports and proceduresAssist in providing schedules and commentary for operational management account results and variances, and for the production of working-capital cash-flow reportsOther projects and assignments as necessaryEducation & Certifications

A four-year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

CPA a plus

Qualification & Experience

2+ years of experience with increasing responsibility

SAP systems experience strongly preferred

Motivated individual who works well with others and thinks clearly under pressure

Exceptional ability to problem-solve individually or in a group setting

Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining organization and control

Proven track record of process improvement

Accounting knowledge and experience required

Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

A proven team player

Ability to identify efficiencies and process improvements while maintaining a strong customer focus.SAP and HFM experience preferredAbility to make decisions and communicate with other team members appropriately around service deliverablesAdditional Information:
