60658Job DescriptionA 9-hospital healthcare system located in eastern North Carolina, is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their regional newborn hospitalist team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide inpatient pediatric care at 3 hospitals. Primary locations will be in Edenton NC, a beautiful waterfront community and nearby Ahoskie, NC. NNP and PNP-AC new graduates are encouraged to apply. Physician Assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience.Required QualificationsExperienced PNP-AC, NNP or Physician Assistant- At least 2 years of NICU ExperienceNC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician AssistantNational Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance2+ years of experience in health care settingResponsibilitiesSchedule includes 10- 24/7 unrestricted call per month as well as 24-hours of on-site coverage to support continued competency per monthClinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as neededAbout Provider HealthcareProvider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
