Job Description:

This position is in support of US Navy ships and ship systems. The following is the position responsibilities: Support the analysis and propose changes to improve reliability, maintainability and sustainability of HM&E systems on surface vessel and submarine systems Support shipboard inspections, assessments, and surveys of fluid control system piping and associated equipment within tanks and voids while naval vessels are berthed at naval stations and private shipyards or at sea Support laboratory efforts including quality reviews of: lab test equipment design and installation, test stand manufacturing and implementation, government furnished equipment fabrication and testing and equipment receipt inspections Support quality reviews for Mission Readiness Panels (MRP) test and checkout, and equipment such as but not limited to fluid control systems, auxiliary control systems, machinery control systems, tank level indicators, thermal management control systems, and valve/actuators Required Skills and/or Experience:

Target Experience: Twenty (20) years of Naval Onsite Fleet experience in Control Systems and Oversite Site Knowledge of the Technical Specification of the 9090-310 (series). Control Systems experience including: Machinery; Auxiliary; Electrical. Working knowledge of Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Shipyard, Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), and Type Commander's Organizations.

Degree Requirements:

Target Education: High school diploma, GED equivalent, trade, industrial or correspondence school for engineering.

Must be a US Citizen A secret security clearance
