We currently have a career opportunity for an

Automation Principal

to join our Intelligent Business Automation team. This is a remote role, but domestic travel is required to engage with our clients and our teams. As an experienced leader, you will be crucial in supporting sales engagements, client interactions, partner strategy, execution, collaboration, and revenue growth. We are looking for someone with a strong background in professional services and a proven track record of success that includes expanding our AI capabilities.

This will involve working with cross-functional teams to drive results and financial performance. By bridging internal Perficient Strategy, Data, and Cloud teams, the Automation Principal will ensure alignment in our go-to-market strategy and enhance our multi-partner solution capabilities. Additionally, you will foster an engaging colleague culture that inspires strong team and individual performance, in line with Perficient's People Promise.

The Principal at Perficient is an executive leadership position for individuals with the expertise and experience to stand out among their peers as a thought leader and subject matter expert in a specific area of focus. Those areas may be within the technology, functional and/or industry realms. The Principal position provides executive-level career options for those individuals who prefer not to pursue the management path, and can be considered an alternative to the General Manager position. Principals are heavily involved in business development, engagement management, and delivery assurance. Like the Director position at Perficient, we have several Principal-level positions with different areas of primary focus. The core responsibilities that are relevant for all Principals are documented below. Responsibilities

Growth Mindset / Sales Partnership :Collaboration with Perficient's sales team and practice leaders to support sales engagements.Engage in all aspects of sales, from identifying opportunities to crafting tailored solutions and creating compelling proposals.Contribute to our overall Automation partnership engagement strategy, support the execution and measurement of our strategy.Client Engagement :

Foster strategic relationships with key client stakeholders including CXO, VP, and Director levels.Understand client needs, identify growth opportunities, and drive value and business outcomes.Leverage AI technologies to develop innovative solutions that address specific client challenges and enhance business processes.Partner Engagement :

Be a leader representing Perficient and our practice to ServiceNow, articulate our value proposition and co-selling sales plays that create a win-win.Build and foster authentic relationships within ServiceNow and the broader ecosystem.Develop and nurture relationships with AI partners to expand our capabilities and deliver more integrated and intelligent automation solutions.Vision & Innovation :

Provide strategic thought leadership for our practice, our clients, and ServiceNow.Develop and execute plans that expand innovative offerings and enhance client value.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Team Leadership :

Develop, mentor, and collaborate with our broader team of leaders and consultants.Champion collaboration, celebrate individual achievements, and manage the technical and business aspects of consulting.Lead the team in building expertise in AI technologies, ensuring that our consultants are equipped with the skills needed to deliver advanced, AI-driven solutions.Remember, your role is a strategic investment in the future of Perficient's Automation Business Unit. By focusing on growth, innovation, and collaboration, this role will drive Perficient to new heights, ensuring our continued success in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience (typically 10+ years) in sales, delivery, and/or practice leadership.Demonstrable experience (ideally 3+ years) in the ServiceNow ecosystem and working in collaboration with ServiceNow field sales teams, partner sales teams, and other critical leaders within ServiceNow or related digital process automation software vendors.A senior leader who understands the complexities of leading consulting engagements, understands our business, andActed as a senior project resource, leading and delivering complex enterprise solutions and teams.Proven domain expertise with experience building business cases and communicating client-specific value propositions and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.Proven experience leading discussions with business and technical leaders.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $103,584 to $209,800. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
