Join Navistar now and be a part of the journey towards a brighter, more connected tomorrow.Responsibilities:As a cloud data engineer, you will design and manage Navistars cutting edge cloud computing systems.Key Activities:Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on the Azure platformBuild and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Azure environments.Implement and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure, including pipelines, data stores, data lakes, etc.Configure and manage Azure services.Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.Automate deployment and configuration using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.Develop and implement security controls to protect cloud infrastructure and data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new cloud-based solutions.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degreeAt least 5 years of Information Technology or IT Architecture experienceAt least 1 year of lead experienceORMasters degreeAt least 3 years of Information Technology or IT Architecture experienceAt least 1 year of lead experienceORAt least 8 years of Information Technology or IT Architecture experienceAt least 1 year of lead experienceAdditional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)Desired Skills:
Cloud data engineering experience.Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Associate, etc.Strong understanding of Azure services and their use cases.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java or Go.Familiarity with network protocols, security controls, and monitoring tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Willingness to learn new technologies and skills as needed.
