We offer competitive benefits and salary commensurate with years of experience and a great team of employees.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time in-office position for a Litigation Secretary at Gates, Gonter, Guy, Proudfoot & Muench LLP in Irvine, CA. The Litigation Secretary will perform day-to-day tasks to support legal proceedings for three attorneys. Personal characteristics that will contribute to the success in this position are a strong work ethic, high degree of personal responsibility and accountability, and a high degree of organization.QualificationsProficiency in legal terminology and proceduresExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage legal documentation and correspondenceFamiliarity with legal research and case management softwareExperience in maintaining litigation calendars and schedulingKnowledge of court filing procedures and e-filing systemsAssist with trial prepHandle a wide variety of complex and confidential time-sensitive materialStrong attention to detail and time management skillsMust be able to take initiative, be reliable, professional and team-oriented.Previous experience working in a litigation law firm or legal environmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
