Manager, Business Systems

is to provide leadership and management of the business systems IT team staff including ERP system support for Human Resources, Payroll, Finance and Supply Chain software applications. The Business Systems Manager serves as the technical lead for Business Systems related to onboarding all new business opportunities, system integrations and support. The Business Systems Manager provides leadership for internal and vendor resources.Responsibilities:Develop consistent activation / implementation playbook for the implementation of business systems for new acquisitions and new software.Manages project implementation/support teams and ensures that the team follows and executes delivery methods for project successParticipates as key stakeholder on all acquisition related projects involving Ardent business systemsManaging new hospital/clinic integration activities from concept through implementation onto Ardents related business systemsAbility to manage multiple implementation projectsProject Lead initiatives and communicates with business stakeholders on risk, issues and statusEnforces project deadlines and schedules and mitigates risk appropriatelyDelivers informative, well-organized presentationsPrioritizes and resolves issuesCollaborates with business stakeholders to introduce innovative solutionsDevelops and fosters relationships with business stakeholdersManages business stakeholder expectations effectivelyManages external contract personnel

Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelors Degree or graduate degree10+ years of project and/or management experience5 + years of ERP system experience5 + years of experience implementing and consolidating systems across rapidly growing healthcare organizationsExperience managing Lawson implementations in a multi-hospital healthcare system is preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Self-motivated, quick and assertiveExtremely detailed oriented and organizedExceptional time management skillsExcellent writing and communication skillsCool, calm, collected and collaborative; works well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments; Can shift readily between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on eachAbility to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goalsKnowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metricsAbility to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysisManage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and riskManage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks themClarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where requiredProficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalStays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars
