Job Description
Provides analysis and advice on strategic, operational, and tactical assessments.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe JNTC Analyst will conduct analyses and studies, needs assessments, requirements analysis definition and will work a broad spectrum of tasks requiring analytical skills in various areas of planning, research science, military, wargaming, law or business training, and military intelligence capabilities.Analysts provide reliable, consistent advice and thought-provoking recommendations to various audiences in training and real-world events.Perform other duties related to the work described.Qualifications
Education
A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably from a military Service or Joint War CollegeA minimum of 15 years experience directly related to PWS requirements.Experience
Experience in analytical techniques in conducting strategic resource evaluation and analysis of projects, programs, and other initiatives critical to Service and joint training.Specialized experience in wargaming and military doctrine, handling multiple assignments involving research, data collection, data analysis, planning, and evaluating one or more alternative technical approaches.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have experience providing analyses, conclusions, recommendations, and courses of action, both written and verbal.Performed reliable, consistent advice and thought-provoking recommendations to various audiences in military training and real-world events.Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to command.
Skilled in developing a command philosophy that reflects the approach to command and is actionable.Knowledgeable in building unit cohesion, will & resiliency.Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to training.Practiced in developing training guidance.Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to tactical decision-making & planning.Practiced in modeling a thinking enemy and defeat mechanisms.Practiced in crafting commander's guidance & intent.Practiced in commander KSAs for planning and execution.Knowledgeable in multi-domain environment warfighting challenges.Knowledgeable in emerging challenges (EMS, CUAS, SIGMAN, OIE).Strong communication and presentation skills.Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skillsProficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS OfficeExpected to perform independently and exercise good judgment.Additional Information
