Position: SkillBridge Wargame Analyst Trainee

Overview

Group W is searching for an aspiring Wargame Analyst with analytical and quantitative acumen. Wargame Analysts help to research, develop, run, and analyze analytical wargames for our clients. This can include data gathering, problem discovery, scenario development, experiment design and execution, and post-game interpretation, documentation, and analysis.

RequirementsUS CitizenshipActive Secret Clearance or eligibility to secure a clearance4-year degree from an accredited universityDemonstrated interest in the art of wargamingPreferred

4-year degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)

Applicants without a STEM degree should have military experience to be considered

Expertise in a variety of mathematical, statistical, and computer science arenas3 years of experience planning, designing, and executing military wargamesTraining Outcomes

The program participant may be able to earn CompTIA Security + and/or a MORS Wargaming Certification depending on need and conditions through the training. Further, they'll have real world experience developing and running wargames by the end of their time with Group W, making them a competitive candidate in the field of wargames analysis.

Tools Learned

Standard Wargaming Integration Facilitation Tool (SWIFT) - Tool used to build, play, document, and support analysis of digital wargames.Logistics Analysis and Wargame Support Tool (LAWST) - Tool used to calculate supply and distribution capability in a specific scenario and location.Military Power and Energy Model (MPEM) - Tool used to track energy demand during a scenario.
