1Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Wargaming and Analytics Subject Matter Expert to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Director of Information Management to develop and implement cyber analytics methodologies and conduct wargames to assess cyber threats and capabilities. Your expertise will be critical in informing cyber investment strategies and optimizing operational effectiveness.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Deputy Director of Information Management to develop cyber analytics for visualization, assessment, and optimization of cyber investments from an operational and mission effectiveness perspective.Develop and refine methodologies for analyzing existing, new, and emerging cyber capabilities, practices, and threats.Design methodologies for conducting wargames to assess the effectiveness of cyber attacks, the resilience of weapon systems and critical infrastructure, and the performance of cyber defenders.Support the planning and execution of cyber wargames to evaluate Red and Blue scenarios.Conduct investment analyses, including budget assessments, evaluations, and comparisons, to inform cyber investment strategies.Provide quantitative data and recommendations to support decision-making and resource management within the cyber investment portfolio.Ensure stakeholders have access to visualization and analysis tools for the cyber investment portfolio, with an emphasis on utilizing the Cyber Risk Management Tool (CRMT).Develop and incorporate metrics and performance parameters to assess the impacts of portfolio management decisions.Create an analysis environment that integrates military strategy, acquisition strategy, operational constructs, and risk-based methodologies.Utilize the CRMT to distill and visualize data for consideration in decision-making forums.Develop follow-on phases of cyber analytics, including demonstrations, briefings, reports, and technical manuals, as directed by the CWD Director.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10-15+ years of experience in cyber wargaming, analytics, or related fields.Strong understanding of cyber capabilities, practices, and threats, with the ability to develop and refine methodologies for analysis.Experience planning and conducting wargames to evaluate cyber scenarios.Proficiency in conducting investment analyses and providing quantitative data to inform decision-making.Familiarity with visualization and analysis tools, with a focus on the Cyber Risk Management Tool (CRMT).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with OSD processes or DoD policies, instructions, and directives related to Information Operations Cyber.TS/SCI required.If you are passionate about leveraging analytics and wargaming to enhance cyber capabilities and are looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position.
