About the RoleTWE seeks an Icon Regional Sales Manager for our Luxury Specialist Team, based in our Southwest market. The Luxury Specialist Team serves as a dedicated Brand and Sales resource in the assigned market covering multiple states, working to drive the Icon tier luxury brand growth against specific KPI goals. This role will build relationships with key Sommeliers, decision makers and distributor staff and is responsible for growing distribution and delivering education, and activation with the goal of increasing velocity. This successful individual will work with an influential set of on-premise and retail accounts, as well as developing target account lists and account placements. The Lux experience team member will educate and engage consumers, trade, and distributors to increase brand awareness and increase quality distribution. This position will have direct responsibility for the Icon tier of wines depletions and distribution to their assigned region of states.You will be responsible forAccount Management: Developing and maintaining specific Target Accounts list to grow the luxury portfolio in designated territory. Driving new luxury placements and increase luxury market share through securing new Points of Distribution in key independent and On-Premise accounts. Expanding by-the-glass placements within influential accounts. Identifying prestige/key accounts & developing account performance & activation plans. Managing execution of luxury allocations in relationship with key accounts. Obtaining display and merchandising opportunities. Responsibility for exclusively managing the Icon tier of wines depletions and distribution to their assigned region of states with their Luxury Director.Brand Building, Education and Expertise: Planning and executing luxury consumer events to acquire new business, expose the brand and grow sales in high profile accounts in designated DMA's. Partnering with Sales and Brand teams to develop experiences with a focus on events that acquire, sell, and retain consumers. Conduct and plan special events in market. Serving as brand/category product knowledge expert. Having expert knowledge on competitor brands and conduct competitive analysis. Providing specific brand expertise in retail interactions to leverage a brand opportunity.Educating the consumer, trade, and agency through direct interaction including: Providing brand expertise/training at consumer, and key account level. Developing and executing Affinity Programming, such as Collector Dinners and other educational opportunities. Providing consumer, channel, and competitive insights and using insights to collaborate with brand and distributor sales teams to develop innovative localization of programs and ideas. Carrying out engagements that will create brand awareness, encourage trial, and build brand's social media base.About You You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. You have a minimum of 3 years of luxury Marketing or Sales experience within Beverage industry required. You have experience managing on-premise accounts, leading luxury brands brands required. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills required. You have strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before large audiences both internally or externally, required. You must possess strong negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to meet objectives under sometimes-restrictive timelines. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining key trade account relationships to drive TWE strategy in the market. You can manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision. You are analytical and can develop promotions based on competitive data to meet overall company objectives while meeting customer needs essential. You are organized and can multi-task and deliver projects, including having the ability to manage multiple competing priorities are essential. You have a knowledge of wine, wine terms, and growing techniques required. Passion for luxury wine and the ability to continuously learn new wines and brands and represent effectively to customers required. You have an aptitude for technology and are proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs. Experience with Essbase and Pricer preferred. You have high integrity and a commitment for a strong work ethic. Significant travel within assigned territory required over multiple states Valid driver's license required. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our Southwest market. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
