Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. The Data Analyst co-op will perform various data analytics on Big Data sets within the Monitoring & Controls group. As an example, perform analytics on i-ALERT3 vibration, temperature, geo-spatial, business data, etc. Potentially interface with development partners on the design of future data analytics products.Essential Responsibilities:Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and interpreting Big Data.Development of a User Interface to perform various data analyticsValidate data analytics through robust test plans and procedures.Present design concepts and ideas to peers and managementDevelopment of S/W to perform data analyticsAssist in developing the technical and commercial specifications of products or services gathered from customer feedback.Stay current with latest technology trends and competitor products.Position Requirements:
Junior/Senior Year or Grad Student in Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics/ScienceSome experience working on Data Analytics, Big Data, Internet of things, etc.Experience with Python, MatLab, R, and C+ programming languages is a plus
