ITT Goulds Pumps is embarking on an exciting transformation of the Global Supply Chain organizations process and compliance capabilities enabled by systems, data and insights. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting with various projects in the group. You will be working closely with our team to conduct research, capture data and attend meetings where you will be asked to take detailed notes to share with the team. You will work on a cross functional team to select and plan the implementation of various tools and platforms. Maturing our systems capability is a key goal for the GSC organization.

Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. Our top Global Sourcing professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate, who will also get exposure to Engineering and other professionals.Essential Responsibilities:Track and monitor key competitors and conduct due diligence.Determine industry trends and evaluate potential ITT opportunities.Conduct market assessments with recommended actions.Review competitor products and provide feedback.Support development of proprietary database tools.Assist market intelligence team with special projects.Research to collect competitive market intelligence and update the current supply chain database to support a quick response to market and supply disruptions.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) documents for more efficient procedures relevant to data analytics and market intelligence activities.Work on any additional ad hoc reports or projects that will complement the skill set and contribute to the development of the Intern.Position Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college and pursuing a business related degree. Supply Chain or Data Analytics majors are preferred; enrollment in an strategy or market research oriented MBA program a plusExperience with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, & PowerPointBackground in market research and competitive intelligenceExcellent ability to analyze, model and interpret large data with methodical and logical approachExcellent strategic and analytical thinkingEffective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneouslyAble to deal with complexity and changeExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partnersEqual Pay Act Statement:We aim to pay our ITTers fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.
