*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Wellness Nurse will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our patients through comprehensive assessments, care planning, and implementation of wellness initiatives. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings.
*Responsibilities*- Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for patients to identify wellness needs.- Develop individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of patient health.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.- Perform critical care tasks including airway management and venipuncture when necessary.- Provide education to patients and families regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and coordinate care effectively.- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall wellness program.
*Skills*The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:- Proficiency in critical care practices and emergency response techniques.- Experience with airway management procedures.- Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment protocols.- Background in nursing home care or similar environments.- Competence in venipuncture and laboratory procedures.- Familiarity with ICU protocols and sterile processing techniques.- Experience in medical-surgical nursing practices.- Ability to catheterize patients when required.
