LPN - Palemon Gaskin Nursing Home

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team for NIGHT shift. The LPN will provide primary care and assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing, venipuncture, and medical documentation. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and eClinicalWorks is preferred. Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans - Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team - Provide wound care and assist with dressing changes - Assist with procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention - Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care Experience: - Valid LPN license in [state] - Minimum of [X] years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting - Proficient in sterile processing techniques - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system - Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
