Works closely with OR personnel and is responsible for the OR case carts and maintaining the OR / CS supply room and supporting other Hospital departments with their sterilization needs.This position is per diem, non exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $43.45/hourly. Compensation is determined by experience and department equity.Responsibilities:Demonstrates basic knowledge of the principles of asepsis, infection control and standard precautionsDemonstrates basic knowledge and principles of sterilizationResponsible for ordering and maintaining inventory and suppliesServes as liaison between the OR and CS, providing supplies, instruments and case cartsThis is not an all-inclusive list of this jobs responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum:COVID-19 vaccination and boosterPreferred:Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)1+ year of hospital experience
