PeopleSoft COBOL Consultant

Job Duties:This position will function as PeopleSoft Developer responsible for:Delivering reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for the new developmentWriting formal technical documentationDeveloping and Unit Testing PeopleSoft programs/routinesBreak fix of program/routinesReporting work status to Supervisor on a regular basis, and responding quickly to management questions and concernsAnalyzing and develop the System (PeopleSoft and other Oracle products) using tools available (e.g., PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Unix Scripting, Phire Architect or Stat)Mandatory Qualifications:Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the following areas:Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using the following toolsets:

PeopleSoft COBOL (required) , Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Messaging, and XMLDemonstrated experience implementing or maintaining applications using Oracle Database 10g or higherThorough understanding of PeopleTools 8.56Demonstrated experience in an IT application development environment supporting a public pension systemDemonstrated experience working in a team environmentDemonstrated experience working and collaborating with others on solutions to develop effective and efficient solutions
