PeopleSoft COBOL Consultant

Job Duties: This position will function as PeopleSoft Developer responsible for: Delivering reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for the new development Writing formal technical documentation Developing and Unit Testing PeopleSoft programs/routines Break fix of program/routines Reporting work status to Supervisor on a regular basis, and responding quickly to management questions and concerns Analyzing and develop the System (PeopleSoft and other Oracle products) using tools available (e.g., PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Unix Scripting, Phire Architect or Stat) Mandatory Qualifications: Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the following areas: Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using the following toolsets: PeopleSoft COBOL (required) , Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Messaging, and XML Demonstrated experience implementing or maintaining applications using Oracle Database 10g or higher Thorough understanding of PeopleTools 8.56 Demonstrated experience in an IT application development environment supporting a public pension system Demonstrated experience working in a team environment Demonstrated experience working and collaborating with others on solutions to develop effective and efficient solutions
