Primary job responsibilities include:
Plan, lead and execute assurance engagements (compilations, reviews and audits)Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controlsIdentify areas of risk and recommend improvementsSupervise, train and mentor junior team members providing them with constructive feedbackHandle and prepare complex transactions and work with clients on technical mattersEnsure compliance with laws, regulations, standards and practices (technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS)Foster client relationships to ensure information is gathered, and matters are resolved within a timely and effective mannerPerform other job-related duties as necessary

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic professional with an upbeat outlook to join our team and actively respond to the needs of our growing client base.Strong candidates for this position should be motivated, reliable and possess:At least three years' prior experience in public accounting, CPA a plusExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex informationKnowledge of the following software programs is preferredQuickBooks Desktop and OnlineMicrosoft Office, in particular Excel and WordCasewareDatasnipperAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and to analyze problems logically and comprehensively, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information.Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independentlyAbility to handle sensitive/confidential matters in a tactful and discreet mannerStrong inter-personal skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients' needs
