Primary job responsibilities include:
Review and prepare federal and multi-state tax returns on a timely and efficient basis; to include business, partnerships, individuals, not-for-profit and trust returnsReview and prepare annual tax provisions and tax planning calculations for estimate and extension purposesResearch complex tax matters in order to summarize results and propose resolutionsMonitor and communicate legislative and regulatory tax law developmentsSupervise and train members of the tax teamDevelop and sustain strong client relationshipsRespond to client inquires and taxing authoritiesPerform other accounting and tax duties as assigned

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic professional with an upbeat outlook to join our team and actively respond to the needs of our growing client base.Strong candidates for this position should be motivated, reliable and possess:A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related major is requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseAt least six years of prior experience in public accountingStrong knowledge of tax lawsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex informationKnowledge of the following software programs is preferredQuickBooks Desktop and OnlineMicrosoft Office, in particular Excel and WordCCH ProSystem FX or Axcess TaxCasewareAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and to analyze problems logically and comprehensively, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant informationAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as independentlyAbility to handle sensitive/confidential matters in a tactful and discreet mannerStrong inter-personal skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients' needs.
