Bachelors degree in accounting or a related majorCertified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseKnowledge of tax lawsExperience with QuickBooks Desktop and OnlineProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and WordFamiliarity with CCH ProSystem FX or Axcess TaxExperience with CasewareResponsibilities
Review and prepare federal and multi-state tax returns in a timely manner, including business, partnership, individual, not-for-profit, and trust returnsReview and prepare annual tax provisions and tax planning calculationsResearch complex tax matters and propose resolutionsMonitor and communicate updates on legislative and regulatory tax law developmentsSupervise and train members of the tax teamDevelop and maintain strong client relationshipsRespond to client inquiries and communications from taxing authoritiesPerform other accounting and tax duties as assignedQualifications
At least six years of experience in public accountingStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsProven experience in tax preparation and complianceEducation Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related fieldEducation Requirements Credential Category
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license requiredExperience Requirements
Minimum of six years in public accounting with a focus on taxation
